Problem:

New hires often face challenges in understanding and aligning with a company’s core mission, vision, and values, leading to a lack of connection to the workplace culture and expectations. Together Café required an engaging, accessible solution to onboard employees while reinforcing its unique Compassion Framework.

Audience

The primary audience was the new hires at Together Café, including diverse employees with varying experience levels in the service industry.

Objectives:

  • By the end of module 1, employees will feel connected to the company’s values and prepared to embody them in their roles.

  • By the end of module 2, employees will confidently use the Compassion Framework to address customer needs, resolve issues, and foster a welcoming environment that reflects Together Café’s values.

  • By the end of module 3, employees will demonstrate improved teamwork and communication skills, ensuring a harmonious workplace where challenges are addressed constructively and inclusively.

  • By the end of module 4, employees will embody Together Café’s mission by leveraging emotional intelligence, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to community care, ensuring a lasting positive impact on customers, teammates, and the broader community.
