Instructional Designer, Organizational Strategist, and Transformational Leader
As the founder of Averting Familiar Education (AFE), Jocelyn partners with purpose-driven organizations to diagnose the hidden challenges behind turnover, disengagement, and burnout — then designs adaptive systems that align people, purpose, and performance.
With over a decade of experience in education, leadership, and organizational development, Jocelyn brings a rare blend of academic rigor, emotional intelligence, and spiritual insight to her work. She holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, where her research explores how spiritual awakening influences leadership identity and organizational culture.
Her journey — from classroom teacher to university lecturer, from teen mom to business owner — informs every aspect of her leadership. She believes that learning is not a transaction but a transformation, and that the healthiest organizations are those where people feel safe, seen, and supported.
